Spring...please come to stay?

Well, for starters, I am grateful to say that the weather is nice today! Because who knows, it could be snowing tomorrow! Be thankful for what you have today, because tomorrow it could be gone!
Secondly, I kind of feel like I'm talking to myself right now. I don't think anyone reads this stupid thing, haha. But oh well...life goes on. More interesting things to do and read...

The past few weeks have been good! My parents bought a vacation home in Hurricane! I'm so happy. I really feel like the Lord is watching out for me. I miss my family soooo much and this is a way I can see them more! I was able to go and spend some time with my Mom, Natalie, Preston, Taylor, Trayson and Brecklyn while they were down getting the house figured out. It was so great to be with them. I miss just being able to hang out and chill with them. Tay, Trays and Breck had me laughing so hard. They are so smart and so funny. Love my whole family! They are the best. I wouldn't change a thing about them.

Easter was great! We got an extra day off for school, so we were able to go to Sanpete earlier. We colored eggs with Em, Britton, Shauna and Cory. It was so fun. We did have a scare though. Ryan, my brother works (well, WORKED) at a boy's home in Manti and he got attacked by three of the scum boys that were there. They are violent kids who were involved in gangs...can you believe that that facility would have those kinds of kids there with NO form of security?! Well, you better, cause it's the truth! What a CROOKED place. Ryan and the other lady that worked there were in pretty rough shape and had to spend the night in the hospital. Ryan had a concussion and if it weren't for two of the other boys that were there, it could have been a lot worse. Two boys came to their rescue and got between Ryan and his co-worker and the gang member kids. I am so grateful for those boys! The three violent kids ended up stealing two vehicles and they were found in Fillmore. They are going to be charged with two counts of attempted murder. Give those scum balls what they deserve! I am just so happy that Ryan is all right. He is such a strong person! I love him so much!

We were able to color eggs and have an egg hunt with extended family. It's always so good to see everyone! I see extended family less and less. It really is a bummer.

School is going great! Only 3 weeks left! I think I'm going to make it! I found out that there is a new degree that's going to be offered at SUU and I think it's perfect for me. I will be getting a BS in Graphic Design and it's more broad. I can get a minor and study other things as well, which is what I've been hoping for! Plus, I'll be able to get through school faster! Another answer to my prayers I do believe! :]

As of right now, Nathan and I are looking for summer jobs in the area. I know we will be all right, but I can't help but panic a little bit about it. We just need to look really hard! We would normally be going back to Bryce Canyon, but they did cutbacks and only the "locals" get their jobs back. Whatever. I hate Panguitch anyway. Another answer to my prayers (if we can find jobs here :P).

Emiley, Britton and Peyton moved here on Monday! It's so great to have close friends in the area!

January 2010

I'm still kind of clueless about this blog stuff, which I'm also kind of embarrassed about! But oh well! Life goes on! Haha. January was a pretty eventful month! For my birthday, we got a big group of friends together to go up to Tucano's and a comedy club. It was pretty fun! Of course, chaotic with a group that big! But it was a birthday I won't forget ;]
Nathan's brother, Dave, also left on his mission on January 27th. He went to the Philippines mission. We had quite the group at his farewell. Good luck Dave! We are proud of you!
Nathan and I also went to a Masquerade Ball at SUU. It was great, we made our own masks and everything. Nathan is such a good sport. I'm so grateful for him to always be supportive and sweet to do things like that with me. He's the best.

Over the holidays :]

Nathan and I enjoyed the Christmas season!It was our first Christmas together as a family. We had nearly a whole month off from school! It was very nice :] These pictures are in no particular order because I suck at this website! Lol! I promise I'm not usually this dumb at computers...I work on them in the majority of my classes!

Nathan, Dave, Sarah and I went and chilled in Provo for a while. Went to the mall, In N Out Burger (yummy) and Pets Mart (my personal favorite). It was a lot of fun just to hang out!




We had a Christmas party with our friends, it was great! We had dinner, played games and did a gift exchange game. It was great!

And of course, the family Christmas parties are always great! It's awesome to see everyone that I don't normally see! My family is amazing :]

On New Years Day, Nathan and I went back to our special spot at the Manti temple! It was the place where we had our first kiss on December 13, 2007, the place where he proposed on January 1, 2009 and where we got married on May 9, 2009. (haha I'm a "date" person...I'm cool like that :P)

My mom and dad are awesome. They gave us a WII for Christmas and also took us to a Jazz game! I love them so much. They do so much for us! I feel so lucky that my parents are also my best friends.

Nathan and I have been married for 7 months today! It's crazy how fast time goes by!

Here is us with our little white Christmas tree! Haha :] We don't look very happy in the picture because my camera was being stupid and it was like the 15th picture we tried to take, haha. So our smiles were pretty exhausted ;]

I'm so excited! This semester is almost over! And we are going to Sanpete to visit my family and friends! So hopefully I will get some more cool pictures to post in a few months...haha. Hopefully sooner. We'll see!

a little about me!

Well, here's my first entry! I don't know how dedicated I will be to this, but I will try my best! Let's see, a little about me. I grew up in Fairview, Utah, a very small town located in Central Utah. I am married to the love of my life, Nathan. He is so amazing. I couldn't ask for anything better! We got married on May 9, 2009. We met while attending Snow College in 2007 and graduated in 2009. We are living in Cedar City and going to SUU. I am majoring in Graphic Design and he is majoring in Accounting. We are doing well here :] I miss Fairview a lot, but what can you do? You have to continue on in life. Luckily, we are able to go up and visit my family and our friends a lot. I don't really know what more to say!
